Joining Quicklight represented a complete change of career for Sue. Before working here, she was a teacher and also helped run a small family business. Sue’s first role was in the finance team, raising invoices and dealing with engineer and customer enquiries. She is now responsible for the health and safety at Quicklight, ensuring that all the engineers are working safely across all customer sites. She loves the challenging and rewarding aspects of the role, as well as the supportive and friendly nature of the organisation.
In her spare time, Sue enjoys watching sports especially tennis and the Six Nations Championship rugby. Although she enjoys travelling abroad, Sue likes nothing more than a seaside holiday in good-old Blighty!
"I’ve never worked for a company where everyone is treated equally; from the managing director to the cleaner – no one is more important than anyone else. It is great to work in a rewarding role that is focussed on the wellbeing of the electricians and engineers."
