Roldan Aquino

In 2007 Roldan was working for a competitor of Quicklight but was unhappy about their approach to customer care and felt that they did not have their customers’ interests at heart.  He had also become unhappy, as they did not respect their employee’s and would not allow him to progress further.

A chance meeting in Central London has given Roldan the opportunity to fulfil his passion for giving excellence in Customer Service.

After seeing a Quicklight van in Central London he approached the driver and asked if we were looking for good engineers in the London area.  The driver happened to be the area manager who liked Roldan’s honest approach.  He referred Roldan to his Director who was very impressed with Roldan’s enthusiasm for the work and his passion for customer care.

Roldan joined the Quicklight team and began a college course to obtain his City and Guilds qualifications in electrical installation, which he has now passed.  Working as an area electrician Roldan enjoys the challenge of getting all of his work done on time.  He specifically enjoys the customer care side of his role and likes helping customers to solve their lighting problems.

“Since joining Quicklight I have enjoyed the respect I get from the company and really like the people I work with” explains Roldan, “I like the fact that everybody’s main priority is making sure that the customer is happy and is getting good value for their money”

Roldan and his family have quickly integrated into the Quicklight team and they regularly attend company social events, such as the Quicklight Karting day at Thruxton, where he found the traffic moved a little bit quicker than he is used to in Central London.
