We believe that we have an obligation to maximise our positive impact on society, and therefore we take the opportunity to contribute to the wider community where we can. Our recent activities include:

  • We raised £14,000 at our Las Vegas-themed annual charity ball. The money was shared equally between Latch Wales, Joining Jack, Chelsea Pensioners, The Dogs Trust and Young Enterprise West Berkshire.
  • Accounts supervisor Antony Gudgeon skydives to commemorate his 30th birthday and to raise money for MNDA.
  • The 'Quicklight Riders' took part in the British Heart Foundation's London to Brighton bike ride. The team cycled the 54-mile journey on Sunday 16th June to raise money for the UK's number one heart charity. Find out why area manager Marco got more than he bargained for.
  • We entered two teams in the Reading Half Marathon’s corporate relay challenge and raised over £2,900 for Great Ormond Street Hospital Children’s Charity, where employee Paul Humbles’ daughter is due to have a kidney transplant.
  • We sponsor employee Stefan, who is competing in the Maxxis ACU British Motocross Championship and the QMS National Championship. Stefan has been racing since the age of five and started competing in sidecar racing in 2011, where he won the United Motocross Junior Sidecar Championship.
  • We are also proud supporters of the national charities Magic Moments, Sue Ryder and Life Education Centres.
  • We have also helped sponsor the U15 Beeford Cricket team and a yacht named ‘Shark Bite’, which can often be seen racing at the Sussex Yacht Club.
